Instructions for re-booting the pay-for-print print stations: There are usually only two occasions when the pay-for-print print stations need to be re-booted: when the Danyl card reader displays INSERT, rather than READY, and when a card can be inserted into the card reader but the print job screen won't appear. To re-boot the print station 1) Turn off the computer. 2) Then, turn on the computer. 3) It will take several minutes for the print station to boot-up. The boot-up time varies, 5 to 10 minutes isn't unusual. 4) At Begin Logon, press Ctrl+AIt+Delete to log on. 5) Press Enter for OK. 6) At Logon Information make sure the box next to User name display's print station, the box next to Password should be empty and the box next to Domain should display LIBRARY. Then, press Enter for OK. It may take a few minutes for the print station to Logon to the print server. If a box appears with a message similar to "Trying to Connect" wait 4 or 5 minutes for the print station to connect. If it doesn't connect, try re-booting the computer again. The message appears when the print station is having problems logging on to the print server. If the message appears again after you have re-booted wait another 4 or 5 minutes. If it still doesn't connect you will need to call the lTD Helpdesk. If lTD is closed re-boot every 15 or 30 minutes, but there is no guarantee the print station will log on to the server.
