- Church fathers; Dwiggins; ACEI; Kempner; Gutman; Peterson rare, Fuegi 19th century; BNA library.
- Catalog 1 or 2 boxes per week of NPBA and LAB dependent on the curator preparing the work. A cataloger was hired in October 2007 to work on the Art Gliner Humor Collection, ca. 1500 books and between 500 and 1000 audio cassettes -- 1,806 in catalog as of Sept. 10, 2008.
Pending Special Collections Cataloging
- John Fuegi Collection of German Expressionists: Received and in process of being inventoried and selected. Three categories to this collection: 1. Vault: approximately 250 Brecht primary source materials, very rare, working documents used by Brecht. 2. Secondary works: small number to be selected. 3. Miscellaneous: approximately 100 books.
Special Collections' Hidden Collections In Hornbake Library
This list describes collections which need records in OCLC's Worldcat and the USMAI online catalog. It is a working list and provides a structure for prioritizing the work and showing progress towards work goals.
Dissertations
New submissions are added automatically to DRUM's UM thesis and dissertations collection as they are received from the Graduate School. There may be up to a 4 month delay in the appearance of a thesis/dissertation in DRUM. Soon after the DRUM submission, the PDF is sent for printing and binding and cataloged for the Maryland Room with a MARC record in OCLC's WorldCat and UM Libraries' Catalog.
