Holding Your Place in a Book
Use bookmarks, flags, and flyers to mark your place in a book. DO NOT use post-it notes or paper clips. Post-its leave a sticky residue and can lift off the text when removed. Paper clips distort the paper.
This paper clip damaged the book by leaving a rust stain and tearing the paper when someone tried to remove it.
Use paper bookmarks or flags!
