Cataloging Policy Coordinating Team (CPCT)

Mission

The mission of the Cataloging Policy Coordinating Team is to ensure that effective policies are established, maintained and communicated and that they serve our users.

Vision

The Cataloging Policy Coordinating Team will facilitate the development and implementation of cataloging policies at UM Libraries and coordinate them with USMAI and national cataloging programs. The Team will foster excellent communication and well written documentation supporting national standards and cost effectiveness and responding to customer needs. CPCT will work closely with TSD production groups and coordinating teams to ensure that TSD staff are fully trained to provide the best customer service and a quality catalog.
