Time Sheets Procedures
Exempt and non-exempt staff, and hourly employees (including student assistants) complete and sign off their time records electronically following the bi-weekly submission schedule. Electronic records are automatically routed to the supervisor for approval. Pay-period cut-off for submitting time records are as follows: Saturday midnight of the second week for exempt and non-exempt staff; Tuesday midnight following the end of the pay-period for student assistants and other hourly employees.
Librarians submit their time sheets on a monthly basis. Completed time sheets are sent to the TSD Office which in turn makes copies of time sheets to be sent back. Original copies are submitted to the Library Personnel and Budget Office no later than three working days after the end of the previous month.
Supervisors are responsible for checking the accuracy of the staff and student time sheets that they sign, whether electronically or in paper.
