Instruction Request Form for AAP Instructors

Welcome! Large academic libraries can be intimidating places for most people, especially pre-college and first-year students.

Understanding this, librarians want to collaborate with you to help students become comfortable using complex library resources. They are eager to work with your students to help them find: reliable information, choose appropriate keywords and resources, and learn the basics of navigating the library's layout.

AAP instructors are invited to fill out this request for library instruction at least 2-weeks in advance of a suggested date:

ABOUT THE PURPOSE OF YOUR REQUEST:

By learning as many details as possible, we will aim to provide your students with a customized session designed to help them find university-level information on their topics. Students tend to pay attention and readily apply what they've learned when a session is targeted to their needs.

What we need to know is ... after your students leave the library session, what are the 3-4 things you will want them to have learned? Essentially, what are your learning outcomes?
