Request Form to Reserve a McKeldin Library Instruction Lab

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:

University of Maryland campus groups wanting to reserve a McKeldin Library instruction lab for non-library related activities are directed to use the form below. Lab use is subject to rental rates.

Labs are rented on an hourly basis. Policy restrictions apply. Please review the Policy on Use of McKeldin Instruction Labs before making your request.

UM faculty, instructors and teaching assistants wanting to schedule a formal library instruction class are advised to contact your subject librarian for customized scheduling.

Groups not affiliated with the University of Maryland may use the form below, but requests are decided on a case by case basis. Priority is given to University of Maryland groups. Lab use is subject to rental rates.

UMUC Faculty:

Beyond those periods, requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand, we cannot always provide you with your first choice. Therefore, provide 3 possible dates when your event could be held.

Even though food & drinks are permitted in the library, we encourage all instruction room users to help keep these spaces clean by keeping food and liquids away from keyboards, monitors and CPU towers.
