Ordering & Printing Info Desk Guides (For Staff)

INSTRUCTIONS:

• STEP 1: Installing Print Drivers on Your Computer
  Call the ITD Help Desk at 301-405-9188 and ask them to install McKeldin Library Copy Shop print drivers on your computer. This takes only a few minutes. You will need these print drivers installed in order to successfully print the user guides linked below.

• STEP 2: - Select and Print User Guides
  Click on the name of the user guide you want to print (see list below). Send print jobs directly to McKeldin Library's Copy Shop printers. NOTE: User guides are designed to be printed in color, so please do not print them in black & white for distribution to users.

• STEP 3: Pick Up Guides
  Pick up your orders at the McKeldin Library Copy Shop (or have the Copy Shop place orders in your department's mail box in Mckeldin's Mail Room) and distribute them to users where appropriate.

• Important Info on Cost:
  Please be mindful that although library individuals, units, departments, and divisions are not charged for Copy Shop services, campus regulations require financial accounting of Copy Shop services provided to staff.

  Color copy/print requests are valued upon the price list for patrons: One 8 1/2" x 11" copy (one-sided) is $1.00; one 11" x 17" copy (one-sided) is $2.00 Requests exceeding $250 require director approval prior to submission to the Copy Shop. Requests exceeding $500 require LEC approval.
