You have several means of requesting items through the University Libraries.

Holds/Recall

You may request any circulating item from any campus or USMAI library through the catalog, whether it is on the shelf or checked out.

Off-Site Shelving

Request materials housed in off-site shelving.
NOTE: If you want to request a book that can be checked out of the library and you have a valid USMAI borrower's card, do NOT use this form. Use the "Request" function in the Catalog record for the item.

Interlibrary Loan

Borrow materials and request articles from journals that are not held in the USMAI system.

For Faculty & Graduate Students Only

Request electronic copies of articles owned in print by the University Libraries. 

Suggest a Purchase

Suggest that we buy material for our collections using an electronic form.
