Abstract:

The National Women's Studies Association was founded in 1977 as an organization for educators, community organizations, and others in the private and public sectors committed to the formation and implementation of strategies for positive change in women's lives. The Association's archives document women's studies programs at colleges and universities across the United States and consist of publications, course evaluations, course materials, correspondence, and reports. The collection is unprocessed but a preliminary inventory is available.
