Meeting Agenda
10:15 AM -- Meet at Kreeger Museum
10:30 AM -- Tour Kreeger Museum (approximately 90 minutes)
12 PM -- Lunch on your own in Georgetown
1:45 PM -- Business Meeting -- Georgetown University, Lauinger Library, Murray Room, 5th floor (Please note that you will be asked to show a photo ID and sign in with the guard upon entering the library)
2:45 PM -- Gallery Talk, current print exhibition, Fairchild Gallery, 5th floor, Lauinger Library
3:20 PM -- Tour Carroll Parlor in historic Healy Hall
4 PM -- [optional] A selection of rare books, Murray Room, 5th floor, Lauinger Library
5:15 PM -- Happy Hour (location t.b.d.)
Directions and Parking
Parking at the
Kreeger Museum is free
Lauinger Library, Georgetown University
From the Kreeger, head south on Foxhall Road, NW
Turn left at Reservoir Road, NW
Turn right at 35th Street, NW
Turn right at Prospect Street, NW
The entrance to the library is at 37th & N Streets. Please note that you will need to show a photographic ID (such as a driver’s license) and sign in with the guard upon entering the library. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, where the
Murray Room is located.
*There may be metered parking spaces available on Prospect Street or on 37th Street. Also, there may be street parking available within a few blocks of the library; however, most streets require a Zone 2 residential permit issued by the District of Columbia for parking longer than two hours.
**Alternatively, there should be visitor parking spaces available in the campus Southwest Garage, ranging in cost from $3/hour to $15/day. The Southwest Garage is located at the Canal Road entrance to the University. Continue down 35th Street past Prospect, then turn right at Canal Road. Turn right at the Canal Road entrance to the University and follow the signs to Visitor Parking.
