Catalogs and guidebooks helped to direct visitors to interesting exhibits at the World's Fairs. This Victoria and Albert Museum catalogue, for example, illustrates and describes 28 decorative art objects featured at the International Exhibition of 1862 in London. Such pamphlets could then be kept as mementos of the visit to the fair.
