We have reserved rooms at three area hotels for the duration of the conference. Because of the limited availability, we recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible.

Below you will find information regarding these three hotels, and instructions regarding how to make your reservations to ensure the special conference rate. Please follow the specific instructions for making reservations as they vary according to hotel.

Best Western College Park Inn and Fundome

There are no more rooms available at the reduced group rate at the Best Western, though there may still be regularly priced rooms available. Please contact the hotel for availability.

This hotel is located less than one mile from campus, and has a courtesy van to the CollegePark Metro and to the University of Maryland campus. We have reserved 10 rooms at $80.10/night. When reserving your room be sure to mention group number 6000 in order to get the group rate. Any rooms not booked by August 27 will no longer be available.

Marriott Inn and Conference Center

This hotel is located on the edge of the University of Maryland campus, within a ten minute walk from McKeldin Library, and is run by Marriot Hotels. Unfortunately, availability is extremely limited, so there are only five double rooms available at $149.00/night. Call the number above and ask for Reservations. Make sure to mention McKeldin Library in order to get the group rate. Any rooms not booked by September 9 will no longer be available.

Quality Inn and Suites

This hotel is located on the southern edge of campus, approximately a ten minute walk from McKeldin Library. Although the accommodations are modest, it is the most convenient location to campus and to the College Park Metro Station. They offer a courtesy van to the Metro. If you are staying at the Quality Inn, you can also reach the Metro Station easily on foot. Cross Baltimore Ave. (Rt. 1) and walk down Calvert Rd. for a few blocks. An underpass will lead you to the station.

We have reserved 20 rooms for the nights of Tuesday, September 27 through Thursday, September 29: 10 singles, and 10 doubles, both for $69.00/night. In order to get these special rates, you must make your reservation no later than September 10: use the group number 2284.
