Registration informationThe symposium and TEI workshops are currently oversubscribed, although there are still places for the EAD workshop. If you are interested in being added to the symposium waitlist, please e-mail Sean Daugherty. Registration for the symposium costs $70.00 for the general public, $50.00 for University of Maryland faculty and staff, and $20.00 for students enrolled in a graduate program. Spaces, however, are limited, especially for graduate students (there are 20 student spaces) and will be granted on a first come, first served basis. The symposium registration fee includes lunch, coffees, and reception. The two pre-symposium workshops are covered by a separate registration fee. Registration for Introduction to XML and the TEI costs $250.00 for the general public, and $100.00 for graduate students, and registration for Demystifying EAD costs $125.00 for the general public, and $50.00 for graduate students. Each workshop has five spaces set aside for students, and once those spaces are filled, students wishing to attend must pay the full fee. Neither workshop offers special discounts for University of Maryland staff. The cost of both workshops includes all required workshop materials, as well as coffee. All events will be held in McKeldin Library. We can accept Visa, MasterCard, or personal checks. For more details or questions regarding registration, please contact Sean Daugherty.
