Wasserman Library Transfer General Announcement

Dear library staff,

On July 7 Dean Lowry announced the upcoming transfer of services and responsibilities for the Wasserman Library to the UM Libraries.  This message updates you on actions since then.  A coordinating committee, which Tanner Wray and Jane Williams will co-chair, will oversee planning for and carrying out the transfer.  Karen Patterson, head of Wasserman Library, will serve on the committee, along with Carlen Ruschoff and Susanna Van Sant of the UM Libraries.  Three members of the coordinating committee will be faculty from the College of Information Studies.  One will be Marilyn White.  The other seats will be filled as additional faculty express interest in serving with the group.

Please see the attached pages for more information on the charge to the group and the tasks for the three subgroups to be named shortly.
