SVS: Holdings records for the Juvenile Collection have been flipped to McKeldin. MW: On behalf of faculty expressed concern about faculty consultation on principles, including the disposition of duplicates. Circulation may not seem significant, even for books heavily used for courses. JTF: Agreed that retaining multiple copies of books used for reserve and assigned heavily can be accommodated.
Duplicate serials to be withdrawn and dealt with in the following order:
KC: A mid-to-late October move of the Juvenile Collection to McK is OK. CR: Will change long name in Aleph to make it clearer where materials are. KP: Separate e-mail to CLIS faculty to advise on schedule for removal of Juvenile Collection. JTF: Barlow said future of Cataloging Collection is TF decision. STW: JTF: Service sub-committee will meet Oct 4 for 1st time. LW: Web page for review can be located at: TW: Preece has requested a TF report to the Collegium MW: Recommended a brief written report to White by Oct. 5, which will reference documents already sent and will include notices regarding Juvenile Collection and Web site. JTF: CLIS – will not bind any serials this fall. SVS: Requests feedback regarding e-mails - 2 days or say if need longer time to review JTF: Advises 2 slots on JTF for CLIS faculty are still available. Notetaker: Lisa Wheeler |
