Facilitator’s Review of Committees, Groups, and Teams
Facilitators Alan Mattlage and Maggie Saponaro spent approximately one hour conducting a review of the Digital Reference Committee, as part of the Leaders’ Group Redirection of Effort. Follow-up emails will be sent to DigRef Committee members for additional comments. A report will be created from our responses, and then combined with evaluations of other library committees/teams/groups. LEC will review this final report.
Announcements:
- Maryland Ask Us Now! training will be held in McKeldin Library on October 18. Joe Thompson will be leading the session, and Joan will be there all day as well. Since the session is full, Joan will look into possibly having a second training session on campus.
- Scheduling chat reference shifts with the new staffing model is going well, for the most part. We need to look into new calendar software to manage scheduling. Travis and Kim will try out the Yahoo calendar feature, and Jenny will see if she can find other free, web-based calendar software.
