In his talk, "Web Searching and Researching Beyond Google,"
Gary will share a number of resources for information
professionals to use and share with their users and colleagues.

Topics will range from web search to mobile access to information. Gary will also share some thoughts about being an information professional in 2007 and the importance of    marketing and promotion.

Other topics will include:

  • Multimedia searching (TVEyes.com, Metavid)

  • Web-based productivity Tools (Zoho.com)

  • Staying current with new web sites and resources (WebSite-Watcher)

  • Web archival projects

  • Dynamic clustering and information discovery

  • And much more

Gary Price is currently the Director of Online Information Resources at Ask.com. He has worked as a consultant, news editor at Search Engine Watch and as a reference librarian at George Washington University.
