DRUM is the Digital Repository at the University of Maryland. It serves as the institutional repository for the University, with a mission to digitally preserve and showcase the work of its faculty. In addition, DRUM serves as the archive for graduate theses and dissertations submitted electronically from 2003 forward. DRUM is an "open access" archive, which means there are no financial or legal barriers to the content. Items deposited into DRUM are freely accessible via the internet. The DRUM team maintains and promotes the DRUM service for the campus.
