Peripheral Technology Implementation Committee (PTIC)
Annual Report 2003

OVERVIEW

Overall, PTIC has provided and continues to provide essential communication and collaboration between ITD’s LAN and User Services Team (LUS) and the Libraries faculty/staff. The committee has been involved in planning and implementing new hardware/software/services, disseminating information to staff and providing feedback regarding staff concerns and needs.

The committee began 2003 with various membership shortages and changes that hindered the committee’s effectiveness. Since September, PTIC has begun to coalesce and build momentum. The strength of the committee’s membership suggests that PTIC will continue to function with increasing effectiveness.
