The Invisible Web: What Search Engines Can't Find and Why
Abstract
"Search engines are helpful tools that identify and locate many different types of information on the Internet. However, there are many useful resources and databases that search engines cannot find, search, and make the information accessible to those who seek the information. The information is essentially invisible to search engines. Understanding why search engines cannot find this information and how we can take advantage of the vast "invisible web" of resources is the focus of this presentation."
