Faculty Annual Work Plan ExamplesThe Library Faculty Performance Review Policy states: "Each faculty member must prepare a written work plan. The work plan will consist of one document with goals and objectives organized under the rubrics of librarianship, service, scholarship/creativity goals." The Library Faculty Performance Review Guidelines give more details about the work plan: "A library faculty member's work plan should include the following elements: name of faculty member; calendar year; list of PRC members; statement of member's objectives; actions and tasks under the headings of librarianship, service and scholarship/creativity."
The actual format of the work plan can vary according to the needs of the faculty member in consultation with the Performance Review Committee (PRC). Faculty members must include references to the Libraries' strategic plan, the Libraries' Organizational Citizenship Expectations, and documents which guide an individual's team. Below are some examples to help faculty visualize what is expected.
