"Vietnam War Protests at the University of Maryland: Photographs from the University Libraries' Collections" is an exhibit that provides a rare glimpse of the anti-war protests on the College Park campus during the Vietnam War. If you were on campus at that time, we invite you to share your memories on our blog. This exhibit is part of the campus-wide Semester on Peace.

"What in the World?" Among the University Archives' over 500,000 photographs are many strange and intriguing pieces. We will share 16 of those images this fall, one each week, and asking viewers to submit their cleverest captions. The Archives staff will select a prize winner each week.
Images will be available in the Audrey Armistead Ruckert Reception Foyer in Hornbake Library and on the University Archives' blog.

"Voices of the Vanquished: Censored Print Publications from Postwar Japan, 1945-1949" The immediate postwar years were a turning point in Japanese history and laid the foundation for Japan as we know it today. This exhibit of materials from the Gordon W. Prange Collection explores the postwar period from various vantage points–from politics to culture to everyday life. Diverse Japanese voices are expressed in the books, magazines, and documents displayed here.
