1. Adjustments to AgendaOutcome:No Changes or adjustments 2. Outcomes-Based Evaluation of Learning Curriculum ActivitiesOutcome:Irma and Maggie S. reviewed a “logic model” for use in evaluating the Customer Service Module 1 scheduled for January 2004. This model will allow for the impact of the program to be measured over time. “Logic models” are used as a part of the Outcomes-Based Evaluation method. The use of this model was suggested for other upcoming Learning Curriculum programs in 2004, such as Conflict Management and Time Management. Irma noted she has a template that can be used for other programs, and this could be made available via the MIS website. Maggie C. noted that User Education uses an online survey form after instructional sessions in lab settings. Johnnie noted that this method may be of use for the orientation program. 3. Assessment Module Brainstorming/Pre-PlanningOutcome:The group brainstormed ideas for what could be contained within an assessment module. Issues discussed included: why evaluate / who will it benefit, when to use which tool, interpreting data, how to use data, the role of MIS and the relationship to the Grants Office. In addition, it was suggested Charles' piece from Module 1 of Customer Service also be used in such a session. Irma will ask Lisa Wheeler to transcribe the flipchart notes and share with SECT.
