Browser's Guide to the Art Library

Books in the Art Library are arranged according to the Library of Congress (LC) Classification System. The following call number outline will give you a general idea of the locations of books by subject. Remember to check both levels of the library. The collection is divided by size: folio (larger format) books are shelved on the main level; stacks (smaller format) books are shelved on the mezzanine level. If you are having difficulty finding what you need, look up your subject in the online catalog to get an exact call number location.
