BASIC RESOURCES FOR FINDING U.S. GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS
Scope: This guide identifies indexes for locating U.S. government documents in the University of Maryland Libraries. If you have any questions or would like further assistance, please contact the U.S. Government Information, Maps & GIS Services staff at govdocs@umd.edu.
Background
Most government documents are located on the 4th Floor of McKeldin Library, a Federal Depository Library. Government documents may also be found in other areas of the Libraries (search the Catalog to locate), in the Technical Reports Center, or in the Patent and Trademark Depository in the Engineering Library.
