Introduction
Welcome to the 34th Annual LOEX Conference! The theme of LOEX 2006 is Moving Targets: Understanding Our Changing Landscapes. This is going to be an exciting conference filled with many opportunities to explore how librarians and institutions are dealing with the needs of our users, new forms of technology, literacy competencies, ethical issues and effective professional practices. Participants will be energized by the ideas they hear and challenged to set new goals for managing these moving targets.
