The LOEX 2006 Conference Planning Committee is pleased to welcome local library school students to submit a proposal for a poster session, scheduled for the morning of Friday, May 5, 2006. Use the following web form to submit your poster session proposal. E-mailed, mailed or faxed forms will not be accepted.

NOTE: You must be a current library school student to present a poster session at the LOEX 2006 Conference.

Part 2 - Poster Session Information

Directions: 50 words maximum. This description will appear in the Conference Program.

Poster Session Description:
Directions: 250 words maximum. Provide a description of your presentation, including the main points of your research and its application to the conference theme.

Conference Attendance:
Yes, I understand that if my poster is accepted, I may attend the breakfast and Keynote Address on Friday, May 5. I also understand that I may not attend concurrent sessions or the second day of the conference unless I have registered and paid the conference registration fee.

Presentation:
Yes, I understand that my poster must be no larger than 36" x 48" and be mounted on posterboard or foam core so that it can be displayed on an easel.

Yes, I understand that I need to be available to present my poster session to conference attendees between 8:30am-9:00am and 10:30am-11:00am on Friday, May 5, 2006.

What happens next?

Soon after the Planning Committee receives your submission, you will be sent a confirmation of receipt e-mail. If you do not receive this message within 5 business days, please contact the Committee at: loex2006[at]umd.edu

Once the deadline for submissions has passed (it is: Friday, February 17, 2006) the Committee will begin their review. You will be notified about the status of your proposal by Monday, March 20, 2006.
