Maryland Room Hours
Spring 2008 (January 28, 2008-May 14, 2008)
10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, University Holidays excluded
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday**
12 noon - 5:00 pm, Saturday**
Please note: the Maryland Room will be CLOSED on March 15, March 17, March 18, and March 22, 2008. There will be no Wednesday evening hours on March 19, 2008.
** Use of items from the following collections will require prior arrangement on Wednesday evenings or Saturdays:
- Historical Manuscripts
- Literary Manuscripts
- University Archives (Archival materials)
- Photographs (including the Baltimore News American Photograph Collection)
- Memorabilia
- Books from the Katherine Anne Porter Library (RARE KAP)
Researchers wishing to consult any of those collections during these hours must contact staff in the Archives and Manuscripts Department by 3:00 pm Wednesday (for Wednesday evenings) and 3:00 pm Friday (for Saturdays) to reserve materials. In addition, print materials from the National Public Broadcasting Archives or the Library of American Broadcasting may be reserved in advance for use in the Maryland Room on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.
