Evening Prayer...Bedtime Stories - Sunday, April 18, 2010

University Chorale

Nicole Aldrich, director Kelly Butler, assistant director

Sunday, April 18, 2010, 7:30 pm Dekelboum Concert Hall

Nicole Aldrich and Kelly Butler conduct the University Chorale in their performance of a program entitled Evening Prayer...Bedtime Stories. The Chorale, a 50-voice choir that specializes in music from all periods and frequently collaborates with the National Symphony Orchestra, will perform pieces by Mozart, Rheinberger, Vaughan Williams, Rutter, Goodheart, and López-Gavilán. The works on this program combine the traditional Catholic evening prayer service, the Vespers, with the telling of bedtime stories and fairy tales. Learn more about the composers and works on this program through these Performing Arts Library resources:
