He was most imaginative and gallant, and he was also filled with a kind of ethical integrity. He was a tremendous role model for me, and my lessons with him, which lasted for a good five years,were very meaningful.?" - Leon FleisherIn this tribute to Karl Ulrich Schnabel pianist Leon Fleisher will speak about his studies with Schnabel, describing his approach to performance and interpretation. As a tribute to Schnabel's memory, the Fleishers will play Schubert's Fantasy in F Minor for four hands. The event will also offer a showing of the documentary video Con Brio, a vivid account of Schnabel's life and career.
