Fall 2012 GIS Workshops at McKeldin Library

In-person workshops

The UMD Libraries offer a series of three introductory GIS workshops.  The workshops are free, but registration is required and space is limited so sign up early!  Register at:  www.lib.umd.edu/guides/gisworkshop.html

Virtual Campus Online Courses

Can't make the in-person workshops?  UMD faculty, staff, and students can also take advantage of free online courses provided by ESRI, the maker of ArcGIS software.  These cover a wide range of GIS topics and skills.  To sign up for a class, please contact gis@umd.edu with the name of the course you are interested in to obtain a registration code.
