Beatles exhibit now on display at the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library
The Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library is currently showcasing an exhibit entitled "Beatles for Sale: The Image and Influence of the Fab Four, Selections form the Hugo Keesing Collection." The exhibit follows the influence of the Beatles on the rest of the world from the band's inception and "Beatlemania" up until the present day. Items on display include:
- Magazine covers
- Domestic and foreign advertisements
- Paul McCartney blow-up doll
- Comics
- A Beatles wig
- An empty carton of Ben and Jerry's John Lennon-inspired "Imagine Whirled Peace"
- Greeting cards
The exhibit will be on display through mid-May.
