What can be put on Course Reserves?

To make required course materials accessible to all students, faculty may place listening or viewing assignments from the Nonprint collection or their own legally-aquired materials on reserve for their classes.

How will students access the material?

Lists of these materials are kept at the service desk and are arranged by course number and instructor's name. Students look up the item in the Course Reserves binder and provide the title and call number to the staff.

What other material is available on reserve?

Media from a variety of other sources, such as the UMCP Libraries, the Learning Assistance Services, and the Language Media Center are also available at the service desk.

How do I put item(s) on Course Reserve?

Instructors should stop by the service desk, or call (301)-405-9236, or put in an online request form.

Can I put my own material on reserve?

To place your own materials on reserve, read the following information and bring materials to Nonprint on the ground floor of Hornbake Library.
