Course Reserves (In Library Viewing)
To make required course materials accessible to all students, faculty may place listening or viewing assignments on reserve for their classes. Lists of these materials are kept at the service desk and are arranged by course number and instructor's name. If you are putting your own material on reserve please call us at 301-405-9236
ELMS Course Reserves Media (Online Viewing)
Elms Course Reserves Media is a video viewing system designed to stream assigned programs to students outside of class time. Programs on ELMS may not run for more than two weeks per semester for any given course. External Loans (Classroom Use)
Faculty and staff may borrow DVDs, video tapes and 16mm films to show outside of the library to their classes for 2-3 days. Students can borrow them for class presentations but must be checked out and returned the same day.
Rooms (Group In Library Viewing)
Rooms can accommodate 12 to 60 people. They are equipped with audiovisual equipment, including laserdiscs, VHS and DVD players, plus a computer for presentations. On Sunday rooms can be reserved after 5 pm and until 10 pm.
Equipment
We have tape recorders, transcribers and overhead projectors available to UMCP campus faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Nonprint welcomes suggestions and recommendations for new nonprint materials.
