Off-Air Recording Service

Nonprint Media Services will make temporary off-air recordings of broadcast programming for the educational purposes of the faculty and staff of the University where permitted by law. The recordings remain the property of Nonprint Media Services until erased. Off-the-air programs cannot be kept indefinitely, or played over the Dial Access System or the Campus Video Distribution system, without the expressed written permission of the copyright holder.

All recordings are done in compliance with The Guidelines for Off-Air Taping for Educational Institutions , also known as the Kastenmeier Guidelines. To arrange for off-air recordings, call Nonprint Media at 301-405-9236.
