To
search the University of Maryland Libraries Online Catalog for Prange Collection
materials, click "Classic catalog" below the search box on the
Libraries homepage. Then
click "advanced search" at the top of the page on the yellow bar, and select
"Prange Collection" in the "location" field or "Prange" in the "named
collection" field. You can then do a search by author, editor, title, series
name, publisher, year of publication, or CCD number.
Prange Digital Children's Book Collection
The
8,000 children’s book titles in the Prange Collection, including picture books,
comic books and story books, have been digitized. The picture books
(ehon) are now available online as part of the Prange Digital
Children's Book Collection. Full-text access to these books is limited to the
University of Maryland, College Park campus. Access is provided to a thumbnail
image of the book cover and to the bibliographic data for the book for
off-campus visitors to this site. The comic books (manga) and story
books (yomimono) are systematically being added to the digital
collection.
Gordon W. Prange Education Book Collection Database
This
database retrieves bibliographic records for 10,000 education-related books and
pamphlets in the Prange Collection from the University of Maryland Libraries'
Online Catalog. Searches can be done in Japanese.
