This database, created and maintained by the NPO,
Institute of Intelligence Studies,
Japan, can be used to search all of the Prange magazine collection and
part of the newspaper collection by publication title, article title, subtitle,
author/editor, publisher, place of publication, and censorship information.
National Diet Library OPAC can be used to search the Prange newspaper and magazine collections by publication title, publisher, and place of publication.

Prange Collection Newspaper Index
An index to the microfilm reproduction of 18,047 newspaper titles in the Prange
Collection. It is arranged in alphabetical order by romanized title. Created for
use by visitors to the Library only, it can be found in the East Asia Collection
on the 4th floor of McKeldin Library and can be used on a self-serve basis.
Guide to the
Gordon W. Prange Magazine Collection
An index to the microfiche reproduction of the 13,799 magazine titles in the
Prange Collection. Each entry includes title, editor, publisher, place of
publication, circulation, censorship action taken, and other local notes.
Geographical and subject indices are included. The titles are listed in
alphabetical order by romanized or English-language titles.

Collection. This is a guide to the Yushodo Booksellers' version of the microfilm
held by the Center for Research Libraries, not to the Bell and Howell's version
owned by the University of Maryland Libraries.
