Google Scholar

What is Google Scholar?

Google Scholar is a branch of Google that allows you to search open access articles--meaning that you do not have to pay to access them--published by Universities and other such organizations.  Google Scholar has similar features to the databases found in Research port and is easy to learn.

Google Scholar Walk-Through

These videos, created by University of Maryland librarian, Francy Stillwell, will show you how to use Google Scholar to find full-text articles and use Google Scholar to access UM Libraries Database articles.
