Laura Cleary

As the Instruction and Outreach Librarian for Special Collections and University Archives, I help teach students at UMD to access and use the rare and archival research material available on campus. In addition to working with students, I collaborate with teaching faculty to design instruction sessions and projects. At other times I design websites, produce exhibits and contribute to social media. While my knowledge is more general than subject specific, I provide targeted introductions to research and I am happy to work with students and researchers on their projects or help them identify the right person for the job.
