I am the liaison librarian for faculty, staff, and students in Journalism, Communication, and Psychology at UMD. I also work with instructors across the university to use and create open access course materials and textbooks (AKA open educational resources).
My approach centers critical librarianship and information literacies. My current research interests include open and alternative scholarly communications, time/chronemics in library labor, media format preferences, and user experience (UX). I have a Master's in Library & Information Science (MLIS) from St. Catherine University and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Spanish & Hispanic Studies from Earlham College.
