As the Head of Teaching and Learning Services, I coordinate library instruction for first-year students and serve Associate Director of the Research and Teaching Fellowship, which trains MLIS students to be empowered and compassionate library instructors. I have a BA in Art History & an MLIS from the University of Tennessee and an MA in English Literature from West Chester University. My research interests include feminist pedagogy in library instruction, mentoring for new library professionals, and #critlib. I like talking about power structures and gender performance, but not in a boring way.
