Equipment Loan Program
UMD Libraries has a variety of general-use equipment, from calculators to projectors and plenty of things in between! Our general-use equipment is first-come, first-serve and typically cannot be borrowed overnight or reserved in advance. To borrow general-use equipment, bring your UMD ID and visit the Tech Desk (McKeldin 2nd floor), the STEM Library service desk, or the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library service desk.

To reserve long-term equipment, please submit the request form at least 24 hours in advance of your need.

Ring Light,
Ring Light offers directed and uniform light source and is compatible with our handheld shotgun microphones. But they are not compatible with the shotgun microphone on our Canon Vixia camcorders. Must be reserved online 3 days in advance. Loan period up to 3 days.
