Social Media Coordinator
Lisa holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland. She is interested in environmental applications of GIS and remote sensing.
Qi holds a M.A. in Geography and GIS certificate from The George Washington University. Originally from Beijing, China, he is equipped with skills like image processing of remote sensing images, spatial statistics, Python & R programming, and transportation modeling to apply on various fields such as transportation, public health, urban geography, or any other field requiring heavy amounts of GIS data analysis work to create an actionable, valuable knowledge product.
Khashayar interned with the center during the senior year of his GIS major in the Department of Geographical Sciences. He is interested in GIS computer modeling and project management.
Wenwen Fan, Ph.D.
Statistical and GIS Consulting Graduate Assistant
Wenwen was a Biostatistics graduate student in the School of Public Health. She has experience with survey sampling, longitudinal data analysis, and categorical data analysis. She also has extensive data analysis experience using SAS, STATA, and R.
Paul interned with the center as a GIS major in the Department of Geographical Sciences during the Spring 2016 semester.
Nhu completed a B.S. in GIS at the University of Maryland. He has experience using GIS, Remote Sensing, and Python, and used GIS for an internship at UMD Facilities and Management to manage and update the geodatabase for buildings and residence halls. Nhu also worked on a project at FM to change the campus map’s building from 2D to 3D using ArcGIS Pro.
Yini majored in GIS at the University of Maryland. She has experience with Web GIS, Python, and ArcGIS. She is interested in combining her computer science skills and GIS knowledge together to solve real world problems.
Bongnwi, who is from Cameroon, interned with the center during his senior year as a Geographical Information Systems major. He has computer programming experience and is interested in computer modeling and data analysis for GIS.
