The Margaret Jenkins Dance Company in performanceIn celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company returns to the stage of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center with Times Bones, a new work co-commissioned by the Center. The myth of Osiris inspires the work, as Jenkins draws from the past repertory of the company and creates new dances out of the bones of the old. Created in collaboration with composer Paul Dresher, visual designer Alexander V. Nichols, and poet Michael Palmer, Times Bones will feature live accompaniment by the Paul Dresher Ensemble.

A special pre-performance prelude will begin in the Center's lobby at 7:40 and move to the Kay Theatre, as the MJDC dancers take their audience on a physical and metaphorical journey.
