The Clarice presents: Calder Quartet
The Clarice is proud to welcome violinists Ben Jacobsen and Andrew Bulbrook, violist Jonathan Moerschel, and cellist Eric Byers of the Calder Quartet to the stage of the Gildenhorn Recital Hall.
The Calder Quartet brings an immediacy to their performances that create an artfully crafted musical experience bristling with energy. The group’s distinctive approach is exemplified by a bullet-proof technique and a driving curiosity. Their Clarice performance is a massive program by towering composers who have changed the way we think and feel about classical music.

Recordings by Calder Quartet
Film: Calder Quartet collaborated with the indie rock band The Airborne Toxic Event to create All I Ever Wanted, a documentary film chronicling the band's preparation for and performance at the renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall. Including to the world-class Calder Quartet, this performance featured such diverse groups as a children's choir, a high school marching band, and visual artists in a synergistic collaboration with The Airborne Toxic Event.
