Mark Padmore, tenor, Jonathan Biss, piano

Friday, October 10, 2014
Gildenhorn Recital Hall

Tenor Mark Padmore and pianist Jonathan BissKnown for his work in song and oratorio, the English tenor, Mark Padmore sings with clarity, authority and penetrating dramatic intensity.

Having developed a flourishing career in opera, concert and recital Padmore is paired at The Clarice with Jonathan Biss. The young pianist asserts that his concert debut occurred pre-natally under the direction of the late Lorin Maazel thanks to his violinist mother, but it is his post-natal performances on the piano that have attracted attention for their artistry, musical intelligence and deeply felt interpretations.
