Maryland Day is an annual event that celebrates the innovation and creativity that define the University of Maryland.  The University Libraries will be hosting a variety of fun activities, including:

  • Perform Your Own Radio Show - Bring your best radio voice.  Scripts, microphones, and sound effects are provided.  Participants get a tape of their radio debut. (Hornbake Library, 3rd Floor)
  • Take a Terrapin Home - Create your own diamondback terrapin craft. (Hornbake Libary, 1st Floor)
  • Meet the REAL Testudo - Visit the University Archives to check out the REAL Testudo and learn more about the history of UMD's mascot. (Hornbake Library, 1st Floor)

Those are just a few of the activities that the University Libraries have to offer.  Click here for a full list.
