Sony Audiovisual Solutions Tour

The University Libraries are hosting the Sony Professional Audiovisual Solutions Tour on our campus, Friday October 21, 2016. The Location is R. Lee Hornbake Library, North Wing, Ground Floor, in Library Media Services.

From AV presentation and lecture capture to video production and archiving, Sony is a leader in bringing this technology to colleges and universities across the country. The Sony Professional AV Solutions Road Tour aims to expose communities at premier university campuses to the benefits of a full line of professional A/V technologies and solutions. The format is a half day open house from 10am – 2pm. Sony plans to demonstrate the full breadth of AV solutions currently available, and some still in the works. Sony promises a show that will allow our AV, IT and teaching/learning community to:

• Experience category-leading audiovisual technology first hand

• Meet with product and engineering teams

• Get a glimpse of future classroom technology roadmap Representatives will be demonstrating technology to support general and flipped classrooms, lecture capture, distance and collaborative learning environments (PTZ camera systems, laser projector), advanced audio production, and display equipment.
