Requesting Copies from Special Collections

Before requesting copies for materials from Special Collections and University Archives, review our full duplication policies. Important information for duplication orders:

If you need something in a set time frame, contact us to verify the order can be completed in your requested time frame.

Submit Your Order

  1. Log into your Special Collections Account.

  2. Locate the materials you would like to have copied and place your request.

  3. Once you have made your request, log into your special collections account select "Requests in Processing" from the left-hand side menu.

  4. Select the TN number to view the full transaction details.

  5. Select "Request Copy" at the top of the screen.

    • If "Request Copy" is not available, select "Clone to Copy."

  6. Fill out the appropriate information in the duplication order form (* is a required field):

    • *Format:

    • *Shipping:

    • *Service Level:

      • Standard delivery takes about 10-15 days to complete.
        • Please note that we cannot guarantee Rush delivery.
        • There is a $50.00 fee for orders needed within 1 to 3 business days.
    • *Project Description:

      • Briefly describe your project. For example, "article" or "personal research."

    • Special Requests/Questions:

      •  Add any additional information you would like to communicate with special collections staff. 

  7. Click on “Submit Request” at the bottom of the screen.

Please Note:

  • Prior to processing the order, Special Collections staff may contact you to arrange payment or discuss the details of your order.
  • You will receive an email once the order is completed.

Track Your Order

Once you place your order(s), you can check the status anytime from your Special Collections Account.

  • If you selected the "Digital Download" option, your order(s) will be included in the "Delivered Items" in the left-hand side menu when the files are ready to be downloaded.
